A statistical match centre
Hash Marks is the FBS sister to Down & Distance and The Breakdown: scores, conferences and the closing spread, treated as samples. The NFL ledger stays on the NFL site. This catalogue is FBS only.
Each finished FBS game is a sample: a score, a week, a conference, and — when the books posted one — a close. Collect those samples and a club or a season is a distribution.
Schedules come from cfbfastR-data (College Football Data sourced), 2001 through the live season.
Season is this year at a glance. Fixtures is the board. Structure is conferences, not NFL divisions. Years labels the 2014 four-team playoff, 2020, and the 2024 twelve-team CFP.
A positive spread favours the home side and lines up with margin (home minus away).
C0 is a probe, not a registered walk and not an NFL slot. If the close is dense enough it can become a thesis later. C1–C3 and player preds are not here.
The public snapshot shows derived summaries plus the holdout and live seasons. The full 2001–present file stays in private SQLite so this site is not a CFBD mirror.
